<image:title>In Home Euthanasia - The word euthanasia is derived from the Greek words that mean “good death”.</image:title>
<image:caption>Making this decision, although a very difficult one, allows you to give your pet the gift of a peaceful passing. You are able to avoid the stress of a car ride and a sterile exam room as the last memory your pet has. We often find our clients are hoping their pet will pass away on their own during the night. Our goal in providing this service is to come as close to this as possible and avoid any emergency situations that are stressful to everyone involved.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Our Team - Laura Goodson</image:title>
<image:caption>Laura grew up in Lexington, SC and decided at 7 years old to become a Clemson Tiger. (really just because the rest of her family were Gamecock fans) Always an animal lover, she wanted to have way more pets than her parents would allow and was the neighborhood pet sitter. Babysitting was tried twice and never attempted again. Spending Saturday’s at her grandparent’s farm in Monetta, SC was a highlight of her growing up years. Riding four-wheelers, hunting and fishing, and caring for and playing with the latest stray dog to show up was a typical day at the farm. Laura graduated Lexington High School as Valedictorian of her class and attended Clemson University with a major in Animal Science. She applied to the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and she was accepted into the class of 1998. She never considered herself a Bulldog, always a Tiger, but was fortunate to receive an outstanding education at UGA. These days, Laura works mostly behind-the-scenes with Upstate Pet Euthanasia and is also employed as a spay/neuter veterinarian at a local animal shelter. Other than that, you may find Laura doing any number of things. From riding horses, to powerlifting competitions, to roller skating, to traveling, to training her rescue dog Hopper, to mountain biking, she’s always trying something new and if it can be done while spending time with her greatest accomplishments, her two children, so much the better.</image:caption>
